BOARDMAN, OH – The Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) awarded the Holiday Inn Boardman with a Quality Excellence Award at the IHG’s Annual Leaders & Investors Conference held in October 2012.
The Quality Excellence Award is given to hotels achieving distinction in all aspects of their operations. IHG is the world’s largest hotel group and only 146 of more than 3,800 hotels were recognized for overall quality excellence. Mike Moliterno, General Manager, and representatives from Radius Hospitality were in attendance and accepted the award.
The Quality Excellence Award is just one of many awards the Holiday Inn Boardman has. The hotel won the Holiday Inn Torch Bearer Award, the chain’s highest honor, a record 13 times. It also won service awards for the last 17 years, and the first ever Kemmons Wilson Spirit of Family Award.
Mary Lou Grover, Executive Housekeeper, is a recipient “Housekeeper of the Year” for the entire Holiday Inn chain.
