For the past decade, the team at theFairfield Inn and Suites has partnered with Habitat for Humanity. This year, approximately a dozen associates, managers and Radius corporate team completed the ceiling and wall insulation for a home. This experience not only gave the team a chance to do something important for a local family, it was a bonding and fun experience for the group! In addition to insulation, we have done landscaping, building the initial wall, nailing headers to door frames & windows, and more. Over the years, the hotel teams have had the opportunity to meet some of the families who’ve moved in the homes, and personally experience why this type of giving back to the community is so critically important. Keep an eye out, for the Habitat for Humanity project day the hotel team is already looking forward to in 2019.
We at the Fairfield Inn participate annually in Habitat for Humanity. Over the years, we have helped in various stages of a house build. We have done landscaping, building the first wall, nailing headers to door frames and windows, and this year installed all of the insulation for the home. Not only have we been able to help build homes for those less fortunate but have also been able to learn what we can do outside of the hotel. We have been able meet some of the families and have really had a great time in helping our local community with the help of Habitat for Humanity.
